Using Photo Editing Software In Scrapbooking Discussion 1

Digital photography is quickly becoming widespread in our society and as a result of that photo editing software is also drawing a lot of attention. A

photo editing software allows you to improve your digital images. For example, you can crop them, remove red-eye, change colors or contrast, and even add and delete elements. You can crop the photograph to emphasize the key part. Reduce the size of the photograph to make it smaller for posting on the Web or e-mailing. Use filters to sharpen it or even make it look like a watercolor or oil painting. Stitch together multiple frames to create 360 degree panoramas. Merge two images to create a 3D stereo effect, or an animated image for display on the Web. Change brightness and contrast to improve the image. You can also cut and paste parts of one image into another to create a photo montage, or convert the photograph to another format (like from JPEG to GIF). Installing is like having a darkroom with the lights on and without the chemicals.

Photo editing software
is great for scrapbooking. I use it for that and other artistic applications. Here are some examples of what you can do with

photo editing software .

I used the path tool to take kitty from her backyard background and to create the following looks. The Paths tool allows to create complex selections called Bézier Curves, a bit like Lasso but with all the adaptability of vectorial curves. You can edit your curve, you can paint with your curve, or even save, import, and export the curve.

Putting kitty in different backgrounds

I cropped the picture to get a focal point of kitty's head.
I used the path tool to change one of her eye's color just to give you an idea of what a photo editing software can do.

more change in kitty background again

here is another change I like to do in my pictures. I put a little color in that one eye

Photo editing software is a great tool to add different elements to a photo. I love how you can manipulate images to what ever you imagine. Check out my next discussion. Please if you have any thoughts to add leave me a comment.

Roses AND Foxglove

This beautiful bouquet of flowers filled with roses and rosebuds of pink, red, yellow, orange on a bed of rich green leaves. I painted the background in acrylic paint and the roses in layers of oil. The container is painted with Prussian blue and silver metallic accent. The color are bright and vivid. This painting influenced by french country, shabby chic, cottage chic, and folk art style. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Pride and Prejudice is a novel by Jane Austen. It was first published in 1813.Pride and Prejudice has consistently been Jane Austen's most popular novel. It is one of my favorite. Pride and Prejudice is a sharp humorous and telling of mannerism played out in early 19th Century English society. It portrays life in the genteel rural society of the day. The title Pride and Prejudice refers (among other things) to the ways in which Elizabeth and Darcy first view each other. This classic tells of the initial misunderstandings (and mutual enlightenment) between the two through deceit, misunderstanding and the weaving of other relationships throughout the story.

He is My Rose of Sharon

This was inspired by the idea of Christ as the Rose Of Sharon his sweetness, The Cross, his thorny crown and the Holy Spirit descending like a dove. I was also reading the Song of Solomon 2. That is a very passionate book. I have posted it to ebay this week. Rose of Sharon the plant is Hibiscus syriacus. It isn't a rose, but its large, flat blossoms and nectar attract hummingbirds and tiny insects that hummers also eat

Barack Hussein Obama, America's first black president, giving hope in his presence and speech. This is the American I thought I would never see. I thought about the 60's although a child suffering experienced of tear gas for three days. My little eyes burned for a week with this gaseous substance. My mother applied cold clothes to my eyes repeatedly. Our neighborhood was a mixture of people from many different places those who where middle class lived in the larger houses but we all suffered the same fate. Today was the resolve of America that says yes we have. A cry for joy for it is Character and not the color of the skin. I am going to bed now with big joy in my heart. "Only in America"
